Holbrooke: Afghan mission tougher than Iraq

President Obama's envoy to Afghanistan makes his first official visit to the country two days after 20 people were killed by Taliban militants.

Richard Holbrooke has predicted that Afghanistan will prove a tougher mission than Iraq, while the Obama administration has distanced itself from President Hamid Karzai.

President Obama pointedly invited four of Mr Karzai's most vocal opponents to his inauguration last month.
