Gaza: the scale of destruction emerges

With the ceasefire in Gaza now at least temporarily in place, the scale of the destruction is now becoming clear.
Tens of thousands of Gazans are homeless and half a million people are without water. Israel has banned foreign journalists from Gaza, but our foreign affairs correspondent Jonathan Miller entered through the Rafah crossing with Egypt.
He travelled north to Gaza city where he visited two UN run schools hit by Israeli fire, one in Beit Lahiya and the other in the Jabilya refugee camp.
From there he went to the UN compound in Gaza City - also hit by Israeli shells.
