G8 ministers denounce Iran violence

While Iran's top legislative body describes the disputed presidential election as healthy, G8 foreign ministers denounce the violence which has left at least 17 dead.
Iran's top legislative body, the Guardian Council, has said the disputed presidential election was the "healthiest" vote held in the country since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
But the G8 foreign ministers, meeting today in Italy, have denounced the violence in Iran that has left at least 17 people dead.
In a statement they urged Tehran to respect fundamental human rights, including freedom of expression
