Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama jets off overseas, hoping to show Americans he's got what it takes.

The American presidential hopeful Barack Obama prepares for his whirlwind overseas trip the world is, quite literally, his stage.

It's his first visit to Afghanistan, his second only time in Iraq and it's billed as a chance to dispel the image of his inexperience, compared to his Republican rival John McCain, and to prove he can be America's commander-in-chief.

But from war zones to the Middle East, Berlin to London, Obama's also under pressure not to make a single mistake.
