Fighting continues in Gori despite a supposed ceasefire in Georgia

Despite a ceasefire in Georgia, Channel 4 News has received eyewitness evidence of continued fighting in the town of Gori.

On the diplomatic front a "cold war" of words has broken out.

Former Soviet republics and Eastern European states, such as Ukraine and Poland, have joined the Georgian president in accusing Russia of not respecting a ceasefire, drawing parallels to the second world war.
