Fears of a Korean military attack

The Korean war truce is over, North Korea has declared, threatening a "military response" after the South joined a US-led plan to search ships for weapons.

Officials in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, said the country would immediately respond to anything it considered a hostile act.
The UN Security Council is still considering how to respond to Monday's powerful nuclear test which has been denounced around the world.
Russia appealed today for more talks urging the world not to punish North Korea for punishment's sake.
