"What I'm feeling is close to paradise", the freed Colombian hostage Ingrid Betancourt says, as she is reunited with her family after six years in captivity.
Betancourt, a former presidential candidate, was rescued in a dramatic operation by the Colombian military, from the remote jungle hideout in Guaviare, 40 miles outside the town of San Jose, where she'd been held by leftist Farc guerrillas.
As she hugged her children today, she said she was proud of them for fighting a "very beautiful battle".
