UN peacekeepers have been caught in clashes in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo today, as the ceasefire agreed last week in the wake of hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing their homes, is under threat.
Rebel leader, Laurent Nkunda, has claimed he will take the war all the way to the capital Kinshasa unless the government agrees to political negotiations.
Channel 4 News has travelled inside rebel-held territory to the town of Rutshuru, north of Goma, which was captured last week and reports on signs that the ceasefire is breaking down.
The film was made in association with Frontier Africa TV.
