Hillary Clinton's long battle with Barack Obama for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination looks to be ending in confusion.

With voters going to the polls in the final two primaries, two senior aides have admitted her campaign is to all intents and purposes over and claim she is about to publicly acknowledge that Obama has enough delegates to win the nomination.

But her campaign chairman, Terry McAuliffe, has insisted that she's "absolutely not" going to admit defeat.
