Burma votes despite ongoing aid crisis

The Burmese government has pressed on with holding a referendum today, despite the horrors still facing victims of the cyclone awaiting aid.
In the Irrawaddy delta region, which bore the brunt of the cyclone, voting is taking place under the watchful eyes of the Burmese authorities.
Meanwhile our foreign affairs correspondent Jonathan Miller is tracking the aid effort from neighbouring Thailand.
Despite desperate need, aid organisations are still facing huge obstacles. The UN's World Food Programme said that two more plane-loads have been impounded by the Burmese authorities.
