Burma: two weeks on crisis deepens

Two weeks on from cyclone Nargis a manmade disaster unfolds in Burma.

The generals insist they are operating a smooth relief operation, but millions of survivors are increasingly desperate for food, clothing and shelter as the country's rulers refuse access to all but a trickle of aid and aid workers.

Disease is spreading, there are reports of forced labour in government run camps and today rain lashed the already destroyed Irrawaddy delta.
