Britain boycotts Mugabe's speech

Britain's international development secretary Douglas Alexander boycotts Robert Mugabe's speech to the UN food crisis summit.
Zimbabwe's president used his speech to launch a new attack on Britain and the west, accusing them of crippling his country's economy in an attempt to bring about regime change.
However the US state department said Mugabe served only as an example of "what not to do" in managing agricultural and food policy.
