Afghan police 'surrender' to Taliban

More4 News obtains exclusive pictures showing what we understand to be the mass surrender of scores of Afghan police to the Taliban. Alex Thomson reports.

And the body of yet another soldier was returned from Afghanistan on Friday, as popular support for the war continues to fall.

But the government says the troops need to stay until Afghan security forces can deal with the Taliban insurgents.
