UK to continue child detention

The immigration minister, Phil Woolas rejects recommendations from the children's commissioner not to detain children in centres like Yarl's Wood, unless there are exceptional circumstances. Simon Israel reports.

Mr Woolas has accused asylum-seeking parents of using their children as pawns to try to stay in the UK.
