Tory pressure over donations

The Tories are to use a Commons debate on party funding to press the government on its acceptance of donations that broke Electoral Commission rules.
The move comes after Work and Pensions Secretary Peter Hain was plunged deeper into the 'Donorgate' scandal after admitting that he failed to register donations made to his unsuccessful deputy leadership campaign.
