Tory 'astonished' by leak arrest

Gordon Brown denies he was told that a Tory frontbencher was going to be arrested.

The Metropolitan police said Damian Green had been held on suspicion of "conspiring to commit misconduct in a public office".

But Mr Green, his party's immigration spokesman, said he had done nothing wrong and was astonished to have been arrested in connection with a series of leaks from the home office.
