1. The Channel 4 Political Awards Vote ("Vote") is organised by or on behalf of 4 Ventures Limited and/or Channel Four Television Corporation of 124 Horseferry Road, London SW1P 2YX ("Channel 4"). By participating in the Channel 4 News Political Awards Vote you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. You may cast your vote by the following method: premium rate telephone call and email. There is no alternative voting method. It is not possible to vote using SMS.

3. You may vote as many times as you like. The eligibility of any vote entry is at the sole discretion of Channel 4.

4. The vote closes at midnight on Friday 18th January 2008. The results of the Vote will be announced during the awards ceremony broadcast on Channel 4 on 23rd January 2008.

5. Channel 4 reserves the right to discount votes if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent bulk votes have been cast.

6. Channel 4 may suspend, withdraw, cancel or re-set the Vote for any reason at its sole discretion and at any time.

7. Under no circumstances will there be a refund for any vote cast for any misdialled calls.

8. If you are not the bill payer, you must get permission from bill payer before calling.

9. At times you may not be able to get through to register your vote. Channel 4 is not liable for callers not getting through.

10. Channel 4's decision in respect of the votes is final.

11. Arrangements have been put in place which are designed to ensure that no-one will be charged for a vote cast once the lines have closed. Please contact Channel 4 if you believe you have been charged for a call made outside of the vote window.

12. Channel 4, its group companies and sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem in any telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Channel 4 hereby excludes all warranties, representations, covenants and liability (whether express or implied) regarding the Vote.

13. Any personal data collected will be used solely in connection with current UK data protection legislation. Please see Channel 4's Privacy Policy for further details.

14. Channel 4 reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this website and such posting shall be adequate notice to all participants.

15. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English Law.

Telephone Charges/Pricing Information

16. Each call will cost 25p pence on BT's network plus network extras (if applicable). Other network operators and mobiles may be higher. Check with your network operator before calling.

17. Voting using your mobile phone may have different costs on different mobile networks. Check with your network operator before calling.
