Straw relaxed on public Iraq inquiry

The justice secretary, Jack Straw, says he would have no objection to giving evidence to the Iraq war inquiry in public. Jane Deith reports.

The government's been criticised for planning to hold the inquiry behind closed doors.

Although Downing Street today dismissed claims that the decision was down to pressure from the former prime minister, Tony Blair.
