Spending cuts: is Labour in denial?

There was little or nothing about targets for cuts in public spending in Gordon Brown's conference speech. More4 News asks if Labour is in denial.
Beyond fiery condemnation of the unregulated free market, which Mr Brown called "right-wing fundamentalism", there was not much mention of money in his speech.
Strange, perhaps, for a conference taking place against the backdrop of a major economic crisis.
