Scottish National Party targets Labour in Glasgow East by-election

The Scottish National Party is attempting to win the safe Labour seat of Glasgow East in tomorrow's by-election.

A defeat for Labour here would be a damaging blow for Gordon Brown, and today the SNP focused its attack directly on the prime minister.

Labour, by contrast, is fighting a deliberately local campaign.
