As Hazel Blears heads back to Salford after her dramatic resignation, Jane Deith finds out what sort of homecoming she can expect.

"I am glad to be going home to the people who matter the most to me - the people of Salford," Hazel Blears said in her resignation statement today.

Blears, who paid back £13,000 after her expenses claims were branded "totally unacceptable" by Gordon Brown, said she was returning to the grassroots, where her political life began. But can she expect a warm homecoming?
