By Andy Davies

Updated on 19 November 2008

The ramifications of a leaked British National Party membership list begin to set in.

Police are investigating claims that a serving officer is among those named on the document which was published on a website.

Teachers, prison officers, and even a vicar are among the 10,000 people listed on the books of one of the most secretive political parties in the country.

Some have already received threatening phone calls and the BNP says it will take court action.
