PM set for conference of his life

It is Gordon Brown's last Labour conference before the general election - an opportunity to stamp his authority on his party and the country. Gary Gibbon reports from Brighton.
With some delegates questioning his leadership credentials and cabinet calls for Labour to get off the back foot.
The former deputy prime minister, John Prescott, accused Labour MPs of defeatism, warning that there's "something lacking" at the top of the party as it approaches the election.
Now there are indications the prime minister may break with precedent by agreeing to take part in a televised debate with the other party leaders during the election campaign.
