PM: 'many cases' of deselection

He thinks her behaviour was "unacceptable", but the prime minister is standing by Communities Secretary Hazel Blears in the wake of the expenses crisis.
Gordon Brown did say, however, that there are "many cases" where MPs will "no longer be candidates for the Labour party" at the next election as a result.
At prime minister's questions the Conservative leader David Cameron said the only way to end the paralysis is a general election, but Brown insisted that would cause chaos.
