Personal details of thousands of prisoners are lost by contractor

Ian Huntley, Rose West and Steve Wright, all high profile convicted criminals whose confidential personal details have gone missing.
The Home Office is blaming an external contractor for losing a computer memory stick containing the names, addresses and expected release dates of all 84,000 prisoners in England and Wales.
The contractor, PA Consulting, also has contracts with a number of other government departments.
