MP Conway loses Tory whip

Conservative leader David Cameron withdraws the whip from Derek Conway over payments he made to his sons.
The Conservative leader David Cameron has withdrawn the whip from the MP at the centre of new sleaze allegations, amid demands for a police investigation.
Derek Conway has been accused of handing almost £50,000 of public money to his sons, with little evidence that they did any parliamentary research work.
Mr Conway has already been reprimanded over payments to his youngest son, Frederick.
Now it has emerged that his other son, Henry, was also paid thousands of pounds in bonuses and allowances.
