Levy: Blair said Cameron to beat Brown

Lord Levy says in his memoir that Tony Blair told him he was convinced that Gordon "could never beat Cameron".

Although Mr Blair's spokesman has today insisted he's fully behind Mr Brown.

After a turbulent week at Westminster, Gordon Brown may not have been best pleased to read the serialisation of the memoirs of his predecessor's leading fundraiser.
