Tin opener 'worst' gadget

The electric tin opener is the worst household gadget invented, a poll says.
Its failure to always complete the task in hand is the main reason for its ranking.
The gadget's high breakdown rate was another reason it topped the poll - ahead of "messy" waffle iron and "irritating" novelty alarm clocks.
