Supermarket marriage proposal

Romantic Dominic Devaney, 31, stunned his girlfriend when he popped the question in the fizzy drinks aisle at their local supermarket.
Sian Howle, 27, had no idea the proposal was coming until a message on the in-store loudspeaker at Asda, Wolstanton, announced: "Dominic Devaney would like to ask Sian Howle to marry him."
The couple, who live in Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent, with their four-month-old daughter Matilda, are planning to marry in summer 2010.
