An organised water fight in one of the UK's most genteel seaside towns was called off after council bosses raised eyebrows.
Students planned to stage the battle on the Greensward in Frinton, Essex, and had spread word of the event through a social networking website.
But they called a halt after being told that the event would have to be licensed.
