Snake in the boiler

A pest controller was called in after a woman found a 4ft snake in the boiler of her home.

Lee Marshall, of pest control firm Contract Killers, was called by an "almost hysterical" woman after she spotted the orange snake in the boiler of the house she rents in Lawrence Road, Southsea, Hampshire.

After capturing the serpent Mr Marshall said that he has since been contacted by a woman living further up the street who lost the coral snake several months ago.
