A town in Switzerland is planning to convert the local underground nuclear bunker into a budget hotel.

A group of 15 guests inaugurated the hotel in Sevelen in the north-eastern region of St Gallen last Thursday in trial run. The idea needs the final go ahead from the town's authorities.

The price per person per night will be between £5 and £8. The only drawback is the views are not very good. The building is below ground and is entirely windowless.
