Not many takers for funeral degree

Places are still unfilled on the UK's first degree course in Funeral Services, a university said.

Students enrolling at the University of Bath course in September will take modules in funeral rituals, bereavement and ethics, law and how to market their services.

Up to 20 future funeral directors will begin the FDSc - Foundation Degree in Funeral Services - but a handful of places for the course are still left.
