Noise ban slapped on Dolly fan
Updated on 09 August 2007
A country and western fan has been hit with a noise ban after her passion for Dolly Parton classics such as Nine To Five sounded a sour note with her neighbours.
As well as bombarding her neighbours in Heights Drive, Leeds, with loud repeat performances of the country classic, Diane Duffin also subjected them to a range of other noisy disturbances and anti-social behaviour, Leeds City Council alleged.
As a result council and police officers have confiscated noise-making equipment from Ms Duffin's property, and removed TVs, DVD players, a computer, games consoles, and a number of compact discs and games.
