Money-hungry dog

A family in Wisconsin has had the unenviable task of attempting to recover nearly £400 their dog had eaten.
Debbie Hulleman's dog Pepper chewed up the money that was in a family friend's handbag.
So far they have recovered more than £300 in soiled notes, which they have swapped for clean money at the local bank.
