Cat survives bonnet heat

Scott Bella found something he did not expect under the bonnet of a van brought in for a service - a black cat.

The Chicago mechanic said he found the kitten sitting unharmed next to the radiator, which can generate temperatures of up to 350 degrees.

He said he has called the cat Lucky, and plans to take it home where he hopes she will get along with his four Rottweilers.
