Britain suffers 'character crunch'
Updated on 10 December 2008
Impressionist Rory Bremner said Britain is suffering from a political "character crunch".
Bremner said he found several modern politicians hard "to do".
Speaking at the annual Plain English Campaign awards in London, he said: "I don't know about the credit crunch - we are in a character crunch at the moment. How am I going to do people like John Denham, Andrew Lansley and Nick Clegg? David Cameron, very hard to do. He's got a very plain voice."
