Bog snorkeller sets cycling record
Updated on 06 July 2009
A new world record has been set in one of the wackiest biking competitions in the world.
The World Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling Championships in Llanwrtyd Wells, mid Wales, also achieved a record number of entrants as 30 hardy souls braved the six foot deep course in Britain's smallest town.
Bryan Evans from Bridgend, south Wales, navigated two lengths of the 135-foot long murky bog to post a time of 54.91 seconds and get his name in the Guinness Book of Records.
