Arnie okays dogs' front seat ride

California dogs can continue to ride legally in the front seat of their owners' cars thanks to governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
He has promised to veto a Bill that would have fined motorists £18 for sharing their seat with dogs or other animals.
A local politician introduced the measure after seeing a woman driving with three dogs on her lap.
