Will aid fall victim to the crunch?

It's only three years since Gordon Brown cajoled the G8 nations to more than double foreign aid to help the world's poor, with France joining Britain in promising to do so even sooner than the rest of Europe.
But that was before the credit crunch bit.
Now aid agencies are calling on those rich countries to ensure that the world's most vulnerable people don't pay the price.
