The Greek islands bear the brunt of boozy Brits but do they bring it on themselves?

As the summer draws to a close, they are picking up the pieces in those Mediterranean resorts to which young Brits have been flocking for sun, sea, sex and copious quantity of alcohol.

Faliraki, Zante, Ayia Napa - the Greek islands - have been bearing the brunt, and some there, such as the mayor of Malia, in Crete, have vented their anger on the drunken Brits.

But to what extent is Malia, and the tourist industry reliant on the lucrative business of getting Brits bladdered?
