Shutdown begins but motorists calm

Few signs of panic buying from motorists, with preparations under way for the shutdown of Grangemouth.

The Forties oil pipeline provides a third of the country's daily oil output and closing it could cost the economy as much as £50m a day.

Emergency planning groups have already been drawing up plans to cope with any shortages.
