PM and Darling clash over economy

Gordon Brown's and Alistair Darling's differences may now stretch from the personal to the economic. Faisal Islam travelled to Sheffield to speak with the chancellor himself.

We know they have not been the best of friends recently, but now the prime minister has said current expenditure will grow each year, while the chancellor's Treasury figures show it will fall from next April.
This comes as Mr Darling publicly clashed with the Bank of England governor, Mervyn King, over whether there will be changes to the current system of financial regulation.
