'One million mortgages at risk'

The Financial Services Authority annual report contains the stark warning that one million UK mortgages are at risk.
In its annual review of the biggest risks facing the financial sector, the FSA has said banks are facing their stormiest times since the early 1990s - adding to the already heavy pressure on indebted consumers.
Tonight the prime minister, Gordon Brown, is meeting leaders from France, Germany and Italy to discuss how best to cope with the turmoil facing economies around the world.
