OFT warning on sale and rent-back

Money reporter Bridgid Nzekwu talks to a couple who lost their house and more when their sale and rent-back deal went wrong.
The government must act to prevent "serious and permanent harm to vulnerable homeowners".
That is the conclusion of an eight-month investigation by the Office of Fair Trading into the sale and rent-back market.
The OFT has found that people are at serious risk when they sell their properties below market value to companies on the understanding they will be able to stay in their homes as tenants.
