Firemen lose ill-health pensions

The Fire Brigades Union says it's keeping all options open, including strike action, after losing a High Court battle over ill-health pensions.
The case concerns three former fire fighters who had their pensions taken away following the introduction of new government guidelines limiting pension rights.
The restrictions were applied to them, even though they had already retired and were receiving pension payments.
