Fall in house prices 'is slowing'
Updated on 09 June 2009
A new survey posts the most positive figures on UK house prices since November 2007. Krishnan Guru-Murthy reports.

The survey, by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, shows that fewer of the institution's members are reporting price falls.
Four out of 10 surveyors – 42 per cent - are still reporting falling prices, but that is the most positive number since November 2007.
The number of sales per surveyor was up for the second month running. However, the number of new houses on the market fell, as it has done every month for the past two years.
Simon Rubinsohn, RICS chief economist, spoke to Krishnan Guru-Murthy.
