Chancellor hints at tax cuts

The new battleground for the political parties is emerging in the form of tax cuts.
With Britain heading into recession, Gordon Brown has given a heavy hint that tax cuts will be included in the chancellor's pre-budget report, as the government looks for ways to get the country moving again.
The Conservative leader David Cameron has also said his party would not stand aside while people lost their jobs. Instead he would fund tax cuts with savings rather than borrowing.
