C4 slash programming budget

Channel 4 has announced that it will cut spending on programming by 10 per cent.
The news came as the channel announced its results for last year.
It gained a record share of peak time viewing, with 12.7 per cent, and a record share of UK television advertising, with 24.1 per cent of the market.
The channel had a surplus of £1.8m - a growth of more than a million pounds since last year.
But, overall advertising revenues were down by 4 per cent.
