As the UK's economy grows by just 0.2 per cent in three months, we ask what could push the economy into recession.
Channel 4 News has commissioned research from Oxford Economics to identify the key risk factors.
They say if oil gets to $170 a barrel or house prices fall by 20 per cent it would be enough to push the country over the brink.
